WHAT IS A CSA?
Our Flower Share models the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) concept. Community members pledge support to the farm at the beginning of the season and, in turn, pick up a share of the harvest every week the end of July through August.
Our flower share runs on a weekly basis Tuesday, July 24 through Tuesday, August 21. We have three pick-up locations: Tuesday drop-off at East Hill Office Building (for employees only), Tuesday drop-off at Agava Restaurant (for employees only) and Tuesday pick up on farm (in EcoVillage in Ithaca) from 4-6 PM. Every Tuesday your bouquet will be waiting for you at your selected pick-up location during the specified times.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Each week will bring a hand-tied bouquet of fresh, fragrant blooms straight from the field, ready to be placed into your favorite vase or container.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
IF I'M ON VACATION, CAN I SWITCH MY PICKUP TO A LATER WEEK?
We encourage you to send a friend or neighbor to pick up your share in your place. Because our seeding schedule is finalized months in advance, it is difficult for us to accommodate extensions.
Of course! Please send us an email and let us know what you are looking for. We'd be happy to add an additional flower order to your CSA Share.
CAN I ORDER EXTRA FLOWERS TO PICK UP WITH MY SHARE?
Yes, we are happy to deliver your CSA share to your doorstep for a fee, depending on location. If this is something you are interested in, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss logistics.
DO YOU DELIVER?
CAN I PURCHASE A SHARE AS A GIFT?
Absolutely! We think flower shares make terrific gifts. When you are signing up, you will be prompted to fill in some information about the person receiving the gift. We will then email you a printable, personalized gift certificate with details about the bouquet share.
